Herpaderp , I do apologise for having not posted since August but that is irrelevant. Expect a Christmas list in the next few days (although I'm a little busy gulp). For now this is just a stress relief and I stoled it offa Doomski (~grau-gestreift).

1. Tell us about your favorite writing project/universe that you've worked with and why.
Ohhhh this changes from time to time. I liiike... writing about Lunuhr, Lunuhris and Kiohmo and their "associates". I love the interactions that they have. And with Leon and Reilly. I guess the whole NYC/Shukumei thing really appeals to me.

2. How many characters do you have? Do you prefer males or females?
Oh herpderp. Ummm, I counted the other day: Neo characters I have a 7-7 even split, but otherwise... according to my reference folder (which needs updating) I have 9 males to only 6 females. Admittedly, Tawreh and Breaksea don't have anything to do with a story so that takes it down to 4 females. I prefer writing and drawing guys, but drawing human girls. (oh and there's Tae. Forgot about her. 5 girls!) From here on though, I'm gonna count my main characters aaaas: Lunuhr, Lunuhris, Kiohmo, Leon and Reilly. They are my main active RP characters. (I don't really RP outside of Neopets.)

3. How do you come up with names, for characters (and for places if you're writing about fictional places)?
Well to start with when I was making characters up I had to have them all begin with "T" if they were a main character. (Hence Tawreh, Talia, Tobias, Tae, Tay, Tak, Tam, Tyeler, Tamzyn, Tom .....) That kinda got messed up when I made Kai, though. Um, then ...well, Lunuhr and Lunuhris came next. I was on a wolf RP site called Icaryn Lunaris for a while and really liked the name, so I decided I wanted to create a Lupe called Lunaris, and eventually - after trial and error - came up with Lunuhris. I liked that, and when I realised Lunuhr wasn't taken, I made him too. Err, Kio was going to be Topacz to start with, 'cause I like the name Topaz. But then Doomy asked for suggestions for a full name for a character called Mo, and Nikki came up with a variety, including Kiohmo - so I pinched that.
Reilly was named after Brandon Reilly, and Leon's name .... that just happened.

4. Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!
LOL I think one of my earliest stories I can remember making was about robot cats. 8I ...OH you mean recently? Erm.. How about.. Timber the Timber Wolf. She was a runaway from her abusive father who had got her pregnant, she fell in love with the alpha of the pack, but had a baby and adopted a son as well. And then she keeled over and died from a stomach tumour. Which was really random, I just decided "she should die!"

5. By age, who is your youngest character? Oldest? How about "youngest" and "oldest" in terms of when you created them?
Kio is my youngest both age- and creation-wise, she only came into existance this year. Lunuhr and Lunuhris are about 650 years old, so they are the oldest, and they were created before the others too.

6. Where are you most comfortable writing? At what time of day? Computer or good ol' pen and paper?
I actually don't mind. Wherever, whenever! I'm not so keen on pen/paper but it can happen sometimes. ;3

7. Do you listen to music while you write? What kind? Are there any songs you like to relate/apply to your characters?
YES well I listen to music all of the darn time! And it can be any kind, although I find that I like listening to the sort of music that a particular character listens to when I'm writing about them. Lessee:
Lunuhr: anything goes, but he likes classical, soft rock, soft punk rock.
Lunuhris: doesn't really listen to music, but anything bouncy goes.
Kiohmo: Goo Goo Dolls, Afro Celt Sound System, classical, The Boy Least Likely To and various other similar
Leon: indie, but more lively indie
Reilly: listen to any Nightmare of You song and that about sums Reilly up. he likes dance music as well as indie.

8. What's your favorite genre to write? To read?
I dunno! I guess by definition fantasy? But I love classical novels, and crime novels. To read, I mean. I'm not averse to the occasional romance either.

9. How do you get ideas for your characters? Describe the process of creating them.
I tend not to be concentrating. Lunuhr and Lunuhris were created as opposites. I always had the idea of them being linked to the moon, but it wasn't until much later - when I revisited their characters - that the ideas for their characters fell into place. And they did just fall into place. Reilly and Leon were a little more tricky to work out, as they were one character (Reilly) to start with, but once I had separated them out they became very distinct personalities. For Kiohmo I had a vague idea that I wanted her to be innocent, and her design and personality came from that. If I have a character in mind, I tend to let it form on its own, rather than pushing it (although I do ask the character questions, that tends to help).

10. What are some really weird situations your characters have been in? Every thing from serious canon scenes to meme questions counts!
Errrm.... I don't know. I don't normally put them into weird situations xD

11. Who is your favorite character to write? Least favorite?
Right now, I'm enjoying writing Kiohmo and Leon. Reilly I have yet to flesh out through RP but his character is a very dynamic one so should be quite fun to play with. I still enjoy thinking as Lunuhr, but Lunuhris' optimism seems to be wearing me down recently. I think I just need a bit of a break from her.

12. In what story did you feel you did the best job of world building? Any side-notes on it you'd like to share?
Kiohmo's! Well they're all linked together really but I am VERY proud of the little quirks that Kiohmo has, and her relationships with her siblings, parents and various acquaintences. I feel as though I know her in real life.

13. What's your favorite culture to write, fictional or not?
That's an interesting question xD I seem to like Englishmen in New York (as Sting would sing). Lunuhr, Leon and Reilly are all English and living in NY.

14. How do you map out locations, if needed? Do you have any to show us?
I don't! The scene seems to play out in my head and we go from there.

15. Mid way question! Tell us about a writer you admire, whether professional or not!
I looove how Tori writes. It just brings a smile to my face! And I really like Anna's writing of Ronehl, that's just too cute! Professionally - I love Garth Nix, and ermmm, I can't think of any more off the top of my head!

16. Do you write romantic relationships? How do you do with those, and how "far" are you willing to go in your writing?
I do! Leon is heavily involved with Vera and it's fun to map out their funny little love dodecahedron with Reilly and Vera's dozens of suitors. Kiohmo and Ronehl are fun to map out too, they are just TOO CUTE and make me go AWWW all the time. And of course, Lunuhr and Exha! As for how far I go - it depends on the couple. With Leon and Vera, I would happily go the whole hog and then some in certain pieces, but I refrain because a lot of that work goes on Shukumei. :U But Lunuhr and Exha have a beautiful marriage and I don't see them "that way", and Kio strives for that perfect marriage feeling, so I don't see her that way either.

17. Favorite protagonist and why!
Kiohmo ;_; she's just ... well I've already said. She's awesome!

18. Favorite antagonist and why!
Reilly! He's just ... so spontaneous, you never know what's going to come out of his mouth! I can't plan for his character, he just spouts bullshit.

19. Favorite minor that decided to shove himself into the spotlight and why!
There isn't one? DERP.

20. What are your favorite character interactions to write?
Kiohmo and Ronehl, Kio and her siblings, Leon and Vera. Lunuhr and Exha, even after a few years!

21. Do any of your characters have children? How well do you write them?
Yes Lunuhr has eight LOL. And he loves each and every one of them! They are not all owned/played by me (only Kiohmo is mine).

22. How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story—from planning to writing to posting (if you post your work)?
I... don't plan! Well, sometimes I do, but rarely. Erm, a short can take as little as a half hour up to about three or four hours.

23. How willing are you to kill your characters if the plot so demands it? What's the most interesting way you've killed someone?
HUMN 8I Eventually Lunuhr will have to die. That is a fact. I don't know if I'll be able to carry it through, though. He can only die if he is truly killed, though, so I might jsut avoid any life-or-death situations with him~

24. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.
Nope, but I always imagine Kio wants a little dog or a cat of some sort.

25. Let's talk art! Do you draw your characters? Do others draw them? Pick one of your OCs and post your favorite picture of him!
I draw more than I write them ;o; Yes! other people do draw them! And um ... Ehh you can trawl my gallery for a picture. xD there are some nice Kio ones in there.

26. Along similar lines, do appearances play a big role in your stories? Tell us about them, or if not, how you go about designing your characters.
Yes they do! I dunno. I really like simple designs. I tend to go from personalities to designs, though. Reilly has such a dynamic personality that I wanted a simple design for him, but I wanted him to look a bit crazy, y'know - hence the messy hair and his eyes. Leon fell into place 'cause I wanted him to be Island, so I designed based on those colours, but I knew he was gonna be big and manly. Lunuhr and Lunuhris needed simple designs, very simliar, so I could draw their whole bodies differently to diffrentiate between them rather than the markings. And Kiohmo was a mix of her parents, and innocence, and I wanted a character with a skunk stripe ;o;

27. Have you ever written a character with physical or mental disabilities? Describe them, and if there's nothing major to speak of, tell us a few smaller ones.
Yes, Reilly does! But I think his disabilities are brought on by drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse. He's paranoid-schizophrenic to a degree, but again, that's mostly the drugs talking. Highly addictive personality, very skittery, always wankered. A LOT of his personality comes from his substance abuse.
